Galaxy Note 20

Samsung is the world’s most famous smartphone maker and is well known in almost all parts of the world because of its futuristic innovations. Almost every year, the company takes bold decisions to further extend its reach and continue to rule the world with the highest smartphone shipments.

Undoubtedly, mobile phones with foldable screens are becoming famous among consumers nowadays, thanks to their tablet-like big display offering even in regular phone size. This ambition forced Samsung to skip the launch of its mainstream flagship smartphone lineup this year, while looks like it won’t come back ever!

R.I.P. Galaxy Note!

It’s almost confirmed, the Galaxy Note line has no future as Samsung shifted the Galaxy Z line to its mainstream. This year, the company introduced S Pen support for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which happened for the first time for Galaxy S range. This move potentially started the conclusion of Galaxy Notes.

Galaxy Note 20

After a lot of rumors, a recent Korean media report emerged with authentic information that Samsung ditched the Galaxy Note line production and discontinued producing any Note phone. It means, the Galaxy Note 20 is the world’s last Note lineup, while its iconic S Pen will remain alive!

Really, your Galaxy Note coming back

While the S21 Ultra features S Pen support, but as an additional accessory, Samsung likely bring a dedicated S Pen storage chamber in its upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra phone. If the past rumors are true, it will be the biggest change in the South Korean tech giant’s mobile phone history.

When it comes to naming, the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be the company’s last Note phones. Just, the top model of Note line will be reborn as a Galaxy S phone along with full-fledged S Pen support such as slot inside the body and Air Actions.

  • Update: On December 9th, well-known Samsung tipster FrontTron revealed that the Galaxy S22 Ultra won’t come and the company will market the top variant of the upcoming S series as Galaxy S22 Note. [Source]

Samsung’s this major change in the smartphone designing strategy should help it further grow to reach consumers and push to its ambition of putting the foldables into mainstream. Well, Samsung introduced the under-display camera tech with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, but it’s immature as of now and won’t debut with next main flagship line.

Loyal Galaxy Note fans seem not happy with Samsung’s decision of entirely killing the lineup, but the company’s decision of expanding the S Pen support to more Galaxies might fill the gap of ditching a major phone series. OnePlus 10 Pro Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

So, OnePlus has recently launched OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro smartphones in the global market and the company is working to move to the next level in flagship hardware and software quality. If we compare this phone to our Samsung lineups, we could find that the OnePlus 10 Pro version is not even better than the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.

Why and How Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is better than the OnePlus 10 Pro? Let’s find out more about this.

Display: OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch display that is large and has curved edges on both left and right sides. Meanwhile, the phone has a hole punch design on the top left side of the screen to house a selfie camera. This Chinese phone maker has put a lot of numbers on the specs sheet but in reality, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE display of 6.4-inch size has a better and brighter display that will be with you in outdoor conditions. Yes, if you are expecting to use a Pro display.

Yeah, I know people have their own interests that may take toward OnePlus’s collaboration with Hasselblad, a Swedish manufacturer of camera technology. We’ll come on this topic, after reading the camera numbers.

The OnePlus 10 Pro has a 48-megapixel main camera system, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle, and an 8MP telephoto camera. On the front side, the OnePlus 10 Pro has a 32MP camera for selfies.

But,

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will get a bright camera with a combination of 12.0 MP + 12.0 MP + 8.0 MP respectively. You’ll see that the 12MP rear camera system of the Galaxy S21 FE beats the OnePlus 10 Pro in terms of quality and color combination.

The Ultra wide-angle shots will show better corners and cover the large-scale view with ease. Even in Zoom, Galaxy S21 FE will give a slightly better user experience while capturing a 2x shot.

True to its name and pricing, the OnePlus 10 Pro offers 8GB of RAM along with 256GB of internal storage. If you are looking to adhere to the 8GB power, then I definitely look towards the Galaxy S21 FE.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has a beautiful and stylish rear camera design that looks similar to the Galaxy S21 devices.

Now come to the pricing, the OnePlus 10 Pro has a price tag of 4699 Chinese yuan (translated 739 USD). The device is only available to purchase in China. However, it comes out of the country then it may receive a price hike at around 800 USD.

Meanwhile, the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is available at 769 USD and you can purchase now via the link given here.

realme Pad Android 12

After Google, Samsung is known as the fastest Android 12 update provider for its devices. Not only Galaxy phones, but the company’s last year’s tablet lineup has also received the stable One UI 4.0 update, which is based on the Android 12 OS.

While the Korean tech giant is impressing consumers with the best software support, a China-based company – realme further proved why we should prefer Samsung. In a recent development, realme disclosed that its four months old tablet won’t be updated to the Android 12.

Q. Will realme Pad be updated to Android 12?

A. No, realme Pad will not be updated to Android 12, but will keep receiving security and performance updates throughout its software lifecycle.

As you can see in the phrases above, realme confirmed in a weekly FAQ post that the realme Pad will not get the Android 12 update. Meanwhile, the company will provide new security patches and performance updates throughout its software lifecycle.

Back in September 2021, realme launched the realme Pad pre-loaded with Android 11 OS. This mid-range tablet is equipped with MediaTek Helio G80 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, 10.4-inch LCD display with 2000×1200 pixel resolution, while the pricing starts at $190.

Undoubtedly, it’s shame to see, realme won’t bring any single Android OS upgrade to its tablet, even it’s just four months old in the market. If we talk about compatibility, its Helio G80 processor is not even two years old and capable of Android 12 OS.

Samsung tabs

Last month, Samsung released the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update to its flagship tablet lineup – Galaxy Tab S7 in various markets. To be mentioned, all Samsung devices including smartphones and tablets are eligible for two generations of Android updates.

At the same time, the Korean tech giant offers three major Android OS upgrades to its flagship Galaxy phones and tablets. While the Galaxy Tab S8 lineup is coming soon, it will also introduce three major OS support, at the same time, the recently launched Galaxy Tab A8 is also eligible for two.

Well, realme should provide at least an Android update to its realme Pad tablet for a bit of satisfaction for consumers. However, the company can deliver the big-screen focused Android 12L instead of 12. Anyways, Galaxy fans no need to worry as Samsung is rapidly extending its after-sales service!
