When will my Samsung Galaxy S10 get Android 12 One UI 4.0 update?

Launched back in February 2019, the Galaxy S10 series is Samsung’s one of the best-selling smartphone lineups. The range includes different phones including the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Lite, and Galaxy S10 5G as well as an affordable Galaxy S10 Lite.

At the time of launch, the Galaxy S10 flagships were eligible for two generations of Android upgrades, however, the Korean tech giant extended it to three years. Following this, all of the Galaxy S10 phones are eligible for the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update.

When will my Galaxy S10 get Android 12?

Last year, Samsung added the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 smartphones for the One UI 3 Beta program, meanwhile, I’m not sure for this year [One UI 4 Beta Live]. At the same time, the stable Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update will arrive for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10 Lite later this year.

Update: On December 03, 2021, Samsung has begun the One UI 4 Beta program based on Android 12 for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. If you want to get the major software update right now, you need to participate in the One UI 4 Beta program, meanwhile, it’s currently limited to South Korea.

According to Samsung US roadmap, the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e will start getting the major Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update in February 2022. On the other hand, a recent Gear VR service suspension announcement revealed that the Galaxy S10 will get Android 12 update in December this year.

After the latest Galaxy S21 series models, the One UI 4 Beta program invitation was sent out to the other flagship Galaxies such as the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10 as well as Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy Z Flip.

On November 15, the company has officially launched the stable One UI 4.0 software system based on Android 12 operating system. At the same time, Samsung confirmed that the One UI 4.0 update rollout will begin for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra phones from now on. Read more
