The Galaxy S21 is the first Samsung smartphone lineup that had upgraded to the stable Android 12-based One UI 4.0. Now, the company started releasing a new One UI 4.0-based firmware update to the Galaxy S21 series devices with regular improvements.

Identified via PDA firmware version ending BUKG, the latest Galaxy S21 update is making its way to the European market, starting with Germany. Unlike the recent release, this new OTA brings just improvements to the system functions for a better user experience.

Based on Android 14 the One UI 6.0 update offers several prominent features such as reimagined home screen, the ability to reposition clock on the lock screen, drag and drop with 2 hands, more information in the weather widget, Enhanced illustrations, and much more.

The update also brings a security patch released back in December 2023 to maintain the security and stability grades of the tablet. Additionally, the latest software version will also upgrade some stock applications to offer users a more optimized experience.
