Telegram’s new Sponsored Messages tool will let users promote their channels, bots

Recently, Telegram announced Sponsored Messages, a new marketing tool that will allow users to upgrade their channels with bots. As Telegram explains, users will only see sponsored messages (read ads) on social channels with over 1000 subscribers.
These advertising messages will have a 160-character limit and will be associated with the channel title shown. The Telegraph says it is currently reviewing Sponsored Messages through a small user domain, with extensive releases coming later.
Following its full launch, Telegram plans to resume sharing revenue with advertising channel owners. Many to one or more channel managers already send ads in the form of messages. Telegram hopes that the new tool will give those managers a more organized and seamless approach to improving their channels and bots.
In December last year, Telegram chief executive Pavel Durov revealed that the company plans to launch its platform to advertise its multi-to-mass community channels.
“Sponsored messages on Telegram are displayed in large public one-to-many channels with 1000+ subscribers and are limited to 160 characters. Sponsored Messages are based solely on the topic of the public channels in which they are shown,” said Telegram CEO Pavel Durov in a blog post.
Telegram emphasizes that users will not see sponsored messages in private chats or groups. In addition, the company will not mine or analyze user data in order to display targeted ads. In addition, it promises not to track or profile users based on their interactions with sponsored messages or other activities or to allow external links to such messages.

Every user on a particular channel will see the same ad. However, the company will provide some tools to work with “accurate and efficient ads.” For instance, advertisers may select the language and titles of most of the channels in which they want to display ads. Advertisers can create sponsored messages using the Telegram Ad Platform.

As soon as the development finishes, the South Korean tech giant will begin to release the app’s support for last year’s flagship phones. However, the Samsung moderator shared a possible S22 series Galaxy Enhance-X app rollout timeframe, which is 2-3 weeks from now.
In addition, the company’s moderator said that the distribution roadmap will be coming alongside, which will include details for the Galaxy A series as well. It’s cool news for Samsung fans as the application is equipped with many powerful AI tools for image correction and upscaling.
Galaxy Enhance-X Tools
- Correct blur, noise, and loss of detail
- Skin smoothness, color tone, eye size, and jawline correction
It’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy Enhance-X app isn’t a new thing that debuted last month. It was already available on the Galaxy S22 lineup since last year, but the company didn’t run Beta testing for a long due to unknown reasons and a lack of continuous development.
