Samsung Galaxy M62 Update: October 2021 security patch released in Brazil

In the first quarter of 2021, Samsung announced a powerful Galaxy M series smartphone – Galaxy M62, which uses a flagship-grade Exynos processor. Aside from this, the phone comes pre-equipped with the latest Android 11-based One UI 3.1 software system, which makes it eligible for upgrades up to Android 13.
It’s expected that the Galaxy M62 will receive the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update sometime in the first quarter of next year. Meanwhile, the company is currently distributing new security patches via firmware updates to the device on a quarterly plan. Notably, it will get security updates until Q1 2025, thanks to new Samsung update policy.

Samsung releases July 2025 software update for the Galaxy S25 Edge

We are in mid-July 2025, and Samsung is rolling out the second software update for the slimmest Galaxy S series phone – the Galaxy S25 Edge. This update makes this flagship phone more secure and reliable.
July 2025 security update for Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is currently live for users in South Korea, and the company will soon expand this update to more countries. Users can verify the latest update through the One UI build version S937NKSS2AYF6 and an installation package size of around 550MB.
This update is based on Android 15 and One UI 7. However, Samsung is internally testing the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone and will soon release this major update.
July 2025 update fixes 1 critical and 21 high-level security issues found in Android. It also includes 17 additional fixes from Samsung (SVE items) to improve privacy and security on Galaxy devices. It mainly improves Knox security, the Galaxy Watch system interface, Samsung Account, Wi-Fi passwords, Bluetooth, Emergency SOS, and more.

Following the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung has begun releasing the July 2025 security update, and Galaxy S25 series users are receiving it. This update is currently live for Galaxy S25 users who are not testing One UI 8 Beta, as the update is based on One UI 7.
The fresh update improves the system security and stability by fixing a bunch of issues. It mainly enhances functions related to Knox security, Galaxy Watch system interface, Samsung Account, Wi-Fi passwords, Bluetooth, Emergency SOS, and more.
