WhatsApp users can now get notified of unknown business accounts
WhatsApp is continuously working to add more features and customization to get a better user experience for the users. Before releasing the stable version of any new feature and change, the company releases the beta version for the tester, after testing it becomes available to more users.
Now as per the info (via-Wabetainfo), WhatsApp has now started releasing a new update through the Google Play Beta Program. The update comes with version no 2.21.24.5 and introduces a new feature to more WhatsApp beta testers, to get notified when unknown business accounts contact you.
WhatsApp Unknown Business Accounts
In fact, when an unknown person contacts you, WhatsApp has already displayed a message, but now they do better. In particular, this new feature will display a message at the bottom of the chat (before the latest incoming message from a contact) to inform you that the user is not saved in your contact list.
You can see in the screenshot that the business is not on your contact list. In such a case, you can either add the number to your contact list or block them.
