In August 2020, Samsung announced its last Galaxy Note flagship lineup – Galaxy Note 20, which includes two handsets. Came pre-installed with Android 10-based One UI 2.5, Note 20 series is compatible with three generations of Android OS upgrades.
Back in December 2020, the Galaxy Note 20 duo received the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update, followed by One UI 3.1 earlier this year. Still, the devices are eligible for the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 and Android 13-based One UI updates in the future.

What’s changing:
This software update provides the latest security patch and support for BYOD (“bring your own device”) when making the switch to Verizon from select carriers. It also includes the new Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) feature, which allows you to use two phone numbers on the same device.
BYOD
If you’re not already on Verizon’s 5G Nationwide network, Galaxy Note20 users from other North American carriers will now be able to bring their device and instantly switch to Verizon. Just insert and activate a new Verizon SIM card in your Galaxy Note20 device and it will automatically adapt to the Verizon network and experiences.
Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS)
DSDS enables you to use two phone numbers on the same or different networks with Dual SIM support. Subscribers can register 1 physical SIM and 1 eSIM on their Galaxy Note20 device. You can send and receive calls and messages on either phone number. One mobile data network can be used at a time as DDS (Designated Data Subscription). You can set the primary SIM and default phone number in Settings > Connections.
