Samsung Galaxy M32 gets RAM Plus, Camera improvements with November 2021 update

A few months ago, Samsung launched the Galaxy M32 as its new budget smartphone in select countries. This device comes pre-installed with Android 11-based One UI Core 3.1 and is eligible for new s/w updates on a quarterly basis.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy M32 smartphone is now receiving a new firmware update that brings November 2021 security patch, RAM Plus (memory expansion feature) and improvements for the stock Camera application.

RAM Plus is a hot topic among Galaxy consumers, which lets users virtually expand the RAM of their smartphones. Initially, this feature was introduced alongside the Galaxy A52s and now it’s becoming available for more phones.

RAM Plus

Samsung RAM Plus is a feature that uses a part of your Galaxy device’s internal storage to create “virtual RAM”. For high-end Galaxy phones with more than 8-12GB of RAM, there are no performance issues at all, but for low-end devices with hardware limits, this can be a real way to increase or improve overall performance levels.

November 2021 Security Patch

Samsung disclosed that its November 2021 security patch update installs fixes for 3 critical CVEs, 20 high levels of CVEs, and 2 moderate CVEs from Google. In addition, the OEM has already included 15 CVEs in previous updates while 17 CVEs are not applicable to Galaxy devices.

If you want to check for the latest update manually, head to your device Settings tap on Software updates and finally hit the Download and install button.
