Samsung hosted C-Lab Lab Startup Demo Day at Seoul R&D Campus in Korea

Early today, Samsung hosted the C-Lab Demo Launch Day at the Samsung Electronics Seoul R&D Campus in Seoul, South Korea. The company announced its start-up successes and provided them with business opportunities.

The event was held under the theme ‘Meet C-Lab, the growth point of startups.’ Around 21 new beginners were shown at the event, 18 of whom were sponsored by Samsung last year. The event was attended by senior Samsung officials, emerging community leaders, investors, and critical South Korean legislators.

The C-Lab startups displayed during the event include BitSensing, DeepX, DigiSonic, Dot, Double Me, Evar, Lessengers, Litness, mAy’I, i -MindCafe, MultipleEYE, Omnious, Perseus, PetNow, Platfos, Presence, SeaWith, Select Star, Sylvia Health, Verses, and Waddle.

SeaWith business value increased by 6x after being selected in C-Lab. Silvia Health employees grew by 4x, and Select Star sales reached KRW 6.1 billion within two years of acquisition. DoubleMe has recorded more than 50,000 growing users and KRW 3 billion in sales since its launch in November 2020. It has installed ‘Twin World’ paid posts in 25 locations in 17 cities and in ten countries worldwide.

Lessengers have developed a virtual transceiver, which is a core component of the optical communication network and offers them at lower prices than their competitors. The company will offer its solution to Samsung and strive to develop the first 400Gbps of an ultra-small optical module in the world.

T-Mobile is releasing a huge-size April 2024 update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series in the US. The update brings camera and security enhancements to enhance the overall experience.

April 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones arrives on T-Mobile network carrier with an installation package size of 818.12MB.

As per the changelog, the update improves the stability and reliability of the devices. But its package size also indicates that it improves camera quality and usability.

It is already live in India, the Middle East, Europe, and on Verizon network carrier in the US. To check for software updates manually, head toward your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will get the Software update section, simply open it. Inside the submenu, you need to hit the Download and install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra have started getting One UI 6.1 update and Galaxy AI features, as promised. This is the first tablet series to receive the One UI 6.1 update. In addition to the Galaxy Tab S9 series, other six Galaxy devices have also recently begun receiving this major update.

One UI 6.1 is the latest custom skin of Samsung, which introduces Galaxy AI features. The update highlights several smart functions to Samsung Internet, Gallery, Voice Recorder, Call, Messages, and more that use AI to provide a better and more intuitive experience.

However, the One UI 6.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series does not include Galaxy AI’s Live Translate features. If you have a Galaxy Tab S9 tablet, you can install it to enjoy new features.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series are grabbing Galaxy AI features with One UI build version ending with BXC9 and an installtion package size of 2.9GB.

The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.  users can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.
