A few days back, Apple launched a polishing cloth priced $19 alongside the new MacBook Pro 14/16 and AirPods. Even after such higher pricing, Apple’s polishing cloth sold out entirely. Well, if you have a Galaxy S20 series phone in Germany, then here’s good news for you as Samsung bringing the cleaning cloth for free.
Recently, Samsung has also launched its own cleaning cloth, but it’s different from Apple as it has decided to give away the cleaning cloth for free to Galaxy S20 users in Germany. Currently, Samsung offering cleaning cloths to Galaxy S20 owners in Germany, while the giveaway quantity is 1000 pieces.
No doubt, Samsung may have made this strange decision to compete Apple but the effective scope of the activity is very limited because the activity of distributing cleaning cloths is the devices launched in Germany only, so it is not sure why Samsung did this.
At the moment, the gift of polishing cloth is available for Galaxy S20 series phone users in Germany, however, Samsung believes that possibly it is because this flagship phone is around to be used for two years. The company worried that these users will be affected by Apple’s new iPhone 13 series and polishing cloth.

After Apple and Samsung, Google ditched in-box charger of Pixel 6, 6 Pro
With the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung decided to not include the charger inside the box as part of saving the environment from much use of plastic. Meanwhile, it looks like Google is following the footsteps the Samsung and going to not bring an in-box charger with its upcoming Pixel 6 flagship series.
According to a recent report of The Verge, Google confirmed that its future smartphone devices will come without any accessories, which is a clear hint at the removal of the charger. And the company has also explained that most people nowadays have a USB-C Type charger.
The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro should be the first devices affected by this change, with Google getting the opportunity to further shrink its retail packaging, especially since the charger was the thickest object included. The company has already been minimizing the size of the box to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
No free charger with Pixel 6
After the recent statement of ditching chargers, the upcoming Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will become Google’s first affected devices. Well, the company has yesterday unveiled its mid-range model – Pixel 5a, which comes with an 18W charging adapter.
Samsung’s most affordable charger and cable set comes with a price tag of $19.99, while Apple gives just an adapter at the same cost. It’s expected that Google will offer the $35 charging adapter at a discounted price as the $20 cable will come along with the Pixel 6 inside the box.
