Samsung Galaxy Note 20 November 2021 security update out

Around two weeks ago, Samsung started bringing the November 2021 security patch to the Galaxy S21 series devices in South Korea and Germany. Later on, the company has rapidly expanded the availability of this latest s/w update for more and more Galaxy devices.

Now, it’s Galaxy Note 20 lineup’s turn to get the latest Android and One UI patches released in November 2021. The update is currently rolling out in a few markets such as Europe and the US, while it will be expanded to more regions very soon.

Other than improving the system’s security, the Galaxy Note 20 November 2021 update doesn’t add any new feature or optimization. Meanwhile, it’s expected that the company will soon announce the Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta program for these devices, which comes with plenty of new features and changes.

A few days back, Samsung released the details of its November 2021 security patch. The latest security bulletin mentions fixes for several CVEs from Google and SVEs from Samsung for the Galaxy devices. You can read more about it HERE.

If you have a Galaxy Note 20 series smartphone, then you might have received a notification for downloading the November 2021 security update. If don’t, then you can manually check for a new s/w update by heading to your device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
