September 02 – Germany

After South Korea and the US, Samsung announced that the Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta coming soon for the Galaxy S21 series smartphone users in Germany. This announcement makes Germany, the first European country to get the opportunity.

August 31 – South Korea

Exact a month back, Samsung announced the Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta program for the Galaxy S21 series, but swiftly ditched the announcement banner. Well, it seems the big news has finally arrived for the Galaxy S21 series phone owners as Samsung has relaunched the same One UI 4 Beta banner just recently.

According to Samsung South Korea, the Android 12 Beta program is finally official for the Galaxy S21 series smartphone users. Starting today, the consumers are able to join the One UI 4 Beta testing activity through the Samsung Members app in the country.

In addition, the Korean tech giant has also confirmed that the first Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta will hit the Galaxy S21 series devices in September. However, there’s no information available regarding the global and the US variants for the flagship lineup.

Usually, Samsung offers the Android-based One UI Beta testing opportunity for select flagship models in limited countries. If we take the Android 11 and One UI 3 Beta as an example, the Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta could be available in these markets:

  1. South Korea
  2. The US
  3. India
  4. Germany
  5. Poland
  6. United Kingdom
  7. China

Old flagships to join soon?

Of course, but it’s not official when Samsung will announce the One UI 4 Beta for older Galaxy flagships such as the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy Z Flip. At the same time, we can’t confirm whether Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 series will be invited for the Android 12 Beta activity or not.

In 2021, apart from the Galaxy S20 series, the Korean phone maker had conducted the Android 11 Beta trial for the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy A52 5G (South Korea), and Galaxy M31 (India) smartphones.

Stay tuned for more information on this matter!
