Meanwhile, a report (via-xda) revealed that the company has introduced a new feature called “nudge” in the Google Messages app. However, this feature is not yet ready for all users, as it is available only for a select few. In any case, if you want to nudge, download the latest beta version of Google Messages from the Play Store. Users can activate the featureby following the steps mention below.
- Go to Phone’s Settings
- Click on General
- Now, tab on Suggestions
- Finally, click on Nudge. Here you find two options:
- Suggest reply reminder
- Suggest follow-up reminder.
The first option, when enabled, automatically displays “messages you might have forgotten to respond” to at the top of your inbox. Meanwhile, the second option will take your attention to “messages you may need to follow up on.”
Other than this, Google Messages is the official application created by Google for texting (SMS, MMS) and chat (RCS). It allows messaging anyone from anywhere with the reliability of texting and the richness of chat.
