One UI 4.0 Tip: How to use Wireless power share on Samsung smartphone?
The Samsung One UI 4 beta program offers Samsung consumers the opportunity to taste (download) all upcoming features and the latest Android-based custom skin changes ahead of the stable release for Galaxy devices. So far, the Galaxy S21 series users have received two One UI 4 beta in select regions. In the coming days, the company will officially release the third beta program for its high-end Galaxy S21 devices.

What is Wireless Power share?
Wireless PowerShare is an innovative feature that allows you to turn Galaxy phones into wireless chargers. Also known as reverse wireless charging, it allows you to easily share the battery and charge the Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Buds+. It applies to Qi-certified devices, which is a common standard, so as long as the device can be charged via Qi, you can power it from your mobile phone.
How to enable wireless power-sharing?
Wirelessly charge your compatible Samsung devices using your phone. Some features
are not available while sharing power. Devices and software are constantly evolving — the illustrations you see here are for reference only.
- From Settings, tap Battery and device care > Battery > Wireless power-sharing.
- Tap the Battery limit and choose a percentage. Once the device you are charging has reached this level of charge, wireless power-sharing automatically turns off.
- Tap to turn on the charging feature.
- With the phone face down, place the compatible device on the back of the phone to charge. A notification sound or vibration occurs when charging begins.
NOTE:
Wireless power-sharing works with most Qi-Certified devices. Requires
minimum 30% battery to share. Speed and power efficiency of charge vary by
device. May not work with some accessories, covers, or other manufacturer’s
devices. If you have trouble connecting or charging is slow, remove any cover
from each device.
For best results when using Wireless power-sharing, please note:
- Remove any accessories or cover before using the feature. Depending on the type of accessory or cover, Wireless power-sharing may not work properly.
- The location of the wireless charging coil may vary by device, so you may need to adjust the placement to make a connection. When charging starts, a notification or vibration will occur, so the notification will help you know you’ve made a connection.
- Call reception or data services may be affected, depending on your network environment.
- Charging speed or efficiency can vary depending on device condition or surrounding environment.
- Do not use headphones while charging with Wireless power-sharing.

What’s the Issue?
After the major One UI 6.1.1 update, some users have found that when they select an album group in the Gallery app, their photos are not visible. Instead, the album seems to disappear entirely.
The issue often happens when you have albums with the same name activated in two different features – the album hiding function and the album merge feature. When both are turned on, it can cause albums to disappear or not display correctly.
Samsung’s Response
Samsung is aware of this issue and the community moderator has confirmed that it’s a known issue affecting users after the One UI 6.1.1 update.
The moderator has also mentioned that the company is working on a solution to fix these bugs in future updates. In the meantime, you can check some temporary solutions to resolve it.
Quick Solutions
If you’re experiencing problems with your albums, there are two solutions you can try:
1.) Disable Albums with the same name in the Hide Album Feature
For that, you just need to open the Samsung Gallery app on your device >> tap the More Options icon (Three vertical dots) >> Select Hide Album option >> Look for albums that have the same name and turn them off.
2.) Turn Off the Album Merge Feature
To do so, launch the Samsung Gallery app >> click on the More icon at the bottom to enter Settings >> check the option for Merge Album and switch it off.
By following these steps, you should be able to see your photo albums again. You can also check software updates and a Gallery app update. If any of them are available on your smartphone, install them now to get a better experience.

Notably, the Korean tech giant hasn’t confirmed when One UI 7 will be released but some reports show that many flagship devices are already being tested internally. However, the recent information reveals that there may be some delays in the Beta rollout.
