Here’s how to enable Fast charging mode on Galaxy S21
Surprisingly, Samsung’s fast charging is automatically disabled on Galaxy S21 series. Although Superfast charging is enabled by default. But you can easily change that by going to Settings, and we’ll explain to you how to do it in this article.
The most likely reason for faster charging is disabled, to save your long battery life. And if you are using a non-Samsung 25W charger, you will want this turned on.
If you are using a different charger, such as an 18W charger, then consider your Galaxy S21 charging very slowly. This is probably why. We came across this issue while working on our review of the Galaxy S21 Ultra and went hunting to find out why. That’s why. So keep that in mind.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Fast Charging Tips
Here’s how you can enable fast charging on the Galaxy S21 series:
- First, open Settings.
- Then tap on “Battery and device care”.
- From there, tap on “Battery”.
- At the bottom of that screen, you will view an option for “More battery settings” tap on that.
Under the charging header on that screen, you will see three options. By default, the first one is displayed, which is fast charging. While Super fast charging and fast wireless charging are turned on default. Just tap on the toggle next to “Fast Charging” to turn on instant charging.
This will be required if you are not using a Samsung 25W charger. If you use a slow charger such as a 20W or 18W charger, you will want this turned on, or you will charge a very small fee.
It is strange that this is closed by default. But it may also help save your battery life over time. Since fast charging can damage the battery very quickly.

- Minimum: Take pictures as fast as possible by not optimizing pictures after they are taken.
- Optionally, enable or disable the Scene Optimizer.
This feature allows for customization of photo attributes such as sharpness, contrast, and brightness. For example, selecting the minimum level results in more natural-looking images, while the maximum level increases detail and sharpness, which is ideal for zoomed-in shots. Notably, the quality optimization setting of these levels only affects Photo Mode.
If you enable Scene Optimizer, it automatically optimizes the color and contrast of pictures to make dark scenes look brighter, food looks tastier and landscapes look more vivid.

Arrange Widgets on Samsung One UI 6.1 Lock Screen
To customize the lock screen, users just need to follow a few steps:
- Simply touch and hold to your phone’s lock screen.
- Select ‘Widgets’ to view the available options and swipe up to see available widgets such as battery, clock and reminders.
Add
- Now, tap on Widgets, then select the desired widget option. You can repeat this process to continue adding widgets.
- To rearrange widgets, touch and hold the selected widget, then drag it to a new place next to the other widgets.
Remove
- If a user decides to remove a widget, they can do so by tapping the red minus icon. This will delete it from your lock screen.
