Download: Samsung Gallery 13.0.00.22 lets users change date/time of photos and videos
Recently, Google has updated the Photos app on Android and added the ability to change the date and time of photos and videos. Samsung is now following suit and introducing the same feature in their gallery app.
Samsung recently released an update to the gallery app on the One UI. The update (version 13) features a new editing button that lets you change the date and time of photos. You can navigate to the Galaxy Store and update the app on your Samsung device to hear this new feature.

A Reddit user Kidi_Galaxy first discovered a new feature in the Samsung gallery app. To use this feature, all you have to do is update the gallery app to the latest version and navigate to the photo or video you want to change the date and time details.

After that, tap the details to display the date, time, location, and other image-related information such as ISO, shutter speed, opening, etc. Here you will find the option to edit the video’s date and time.
This change of the updated date and time from this gallery app section will only modify information within the app. This means that the feature will not convert EXIF data. If you are viewing a photo or video in a different gallery or on another device, the original, unchanged details and time will be displayed. While that limit may be of no use to others, it is still a good addition as it allows you to split photos based on date and time within the gallery.
