The arrival of new Galaxy Note phones had already been canceled by Samsung itself, meanwhile, the preparations for the next Galaxy S flagship lineup have begun already. In a recent development, the aluminum dummy of the Galaxy S22 Ultra has been revealed, which starts a new controversy.
According to the information, the Galaxy S22 Ultra aluminum dummy gives us a possible look ahead of launch, which matches with the previously leaked renders as well. Meanwhile, the dummy renders and video revealed that there’s no slot on the phone’s body for the S Pen stylus.
To be mentioned, a popular tipster revealed the entire Galaxy S22 lineup with high-resolution renders and videos. The leak revealed, Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will be quite similar to their predecessors, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have all the features to be known as Galaxy Note 22 Ultra.
Galaxy S22 Ultra Specs [Rumored]
As per the previous reports, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to come with a Galaxy Note phone-like design along with a dedicated silo for S Pen. Inside the phone, there will be a Qualcomm or Samsung flagship processor namely Snapdragon 895 or Exynos 2200 with AMD GPU.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S22+ might be renamed Galaxy S22 Pro. Besides, the Galaxy S22 flagship is reportedly going to feature a quite smaller 3700mAh battery. It’s confirmed that the next-gen Galaxy S series will be equipped with a powerful Exynos 2200 SoC with AMD GPU.
Samsung Galaxy S23 to feature 8K recording at 30 fps
Samsung’s next-gen flagship smartphone lineup could finally bring a significant upgrade in terms of video recording. As per the latest input, the Galaxy S23 is likely to introduce 8K video recording capability at 30 fps. If this leak is correct, it will be noted as a big upgrade when it comes to camera.
IceUniverse, through his cryptic Tweet, revealed that the Galaxy S23 smartphone will feature 8K video recording at 30 fps (frame per second). Do note that the current Galaxy S22 flagship allows you to record 8K high-res videos only at 24 fps (7680×4320).
Earlier this year, the Korean tech giant introduced the Galaxy S22 smartphone lineup. The device allows you to record 8K videos at 24 fps (7680×4320), 4K UHD videos at 60 fps (3840×2160), 1080p FHD videos at 60 fps (1920×1080) and 720p HD video at 30 fps (1280×720).
Samsung could launch the Galaxy S23 series in the first week of February 2023 at an in-person Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, United States. As we are still away from the tentative launch timeline, more leaks and rumors will continue to come.
Samsung Galaxy S23 key features revealed in possible specs sheet
Samsung is rapidly working on its next flagship smartphone lineup. Ahead of the official launch, a tipster revealed a possible specs sheet, revealing some of the key features of the Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphone.
According to IceUniverse, Samsung Galaxy S23 key specs include a 120Hz OLED display panel with 2340×1080 pixel resolution with up to 1500 nits peak brightness and 240Hz PWM (PWM reduces display luminance).
Under the hood, the device will use Qualcomm’s 4nm process-based Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, worldwide. However, it’s rumored that the Galaxy S23 phones may equip an overclocked variant of 8 Gen 2.
In terms of memory, the standard Galaxy S23 could come with 8GB RAM along with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. BTW, the tipster compared S23’s pricing and specs against the iQOO 11 smartphone.
Coming to the battery, Ice claims the Galaxy S23 phone features 3900mAh battery, which can be charged with 25W fast charger. On the flip side, iQOO’s phone features 5000mAh battery along with charging support of up to 120W.
Lastly, the leak included information about the possible primary camera sensor of the Galaxy S23. Not interestingly, the standard model apparently uses a 50MP ISOCELL GN2 camera sensor, while the price could start at $799.
Tipster says, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 could copy Oppo Find N2 Flip design, but could not be better
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is here with lots of internal improvements, but users are now expecting to see some design changes with the next year’s Galaxy Z Flip 5. And, it seems like the Korean company will fulfill users’ expectations.
A recent information by renowned tipster Ice Universe states that Samsung could copy Oppo Find N2 Flip design for the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone. The company could change its Flip’s hinge and make it more like the Find N2 Flip’s water drop type.
The leakster further informs that Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will come with a larger cover display similar to Oppo’s 3.26 inches cover display. Although he hasn’t told the Flip 5’s cover screen size clearly, a previous report claims that it will be 3.0 inches.
It’s also notable that the Galaxy Flip phones have a horizontal cover screen placed beside the camera. Whereas, the Oppo Flip phone has a vertical cover display that covers a half portion of the rear side of the device and we might see a similar change in the Flip 5 next year.
Despite these design improvements, the tipster Ice Universe also says that the Korean company still can’t beat Oppo in some compartments, such as the battery. Samsung will bring an improved battery life for the Flip 5 smartphone but it not be as powerful as the Find N2 Flip.
It is expected that the Galaxy Z Flip5 will imitate the design of OPPO Find N2 Flip, the hinge will be changed to the water drop type used by OPPO, the external screen will be similar to OPPO’s 3.26" screen, and the battery may also increase, but it may still not surpass OPPO
