This is how Huawei’s Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 rival may look like

Recently, it was reported that Huawei is developing a new clamshell-type foldable smartphone, Mate V, that exactly looks like Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy Z Flip 3. As per the report, the device could be released in December 2021, while, its renders just emerged on the web.

Rumors claimed that the diagonal of the flexible display will be 6.8 inches, while the screen will have a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. On the front side, there will be a small 1.35-inch cover screen that will display information about calls, messages, and application notifications.

According to the info, the Chinese phone maker is expected to release two versions of the Huawei Mate V based on the Kirin 9000 and Snapdragon 888 SoCs without 5G connectivity. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 also features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 flagship processor.

In terms of imaging, the Huawei Mate V could feature Leica optics alongside a triple camera system. However, the detailed camera specifications are unknown at the moment. Furthermore, there’s no information emerged regarding its battery capacity.

FYI, Huawei is going to hold a new product launch conference on October 21 where it’s expected to showcase its new foldable smartphone Huawei Mate V and / or Huawei Mate 50 lineup equipped with Snapdragon 898 chipset. Chinese tipster revealed that Kirin reserves have already been depleted.
