PUBG Battlegrounds 14.1 update will bring Halloween to Erangel map with new game mode
When the latest release of Krafton’s PUBG Battlegrounds 14.1 update on October 6 for PC and October 14 for consoles, players will be able to start their tricks or treat early key areas on Erangel’s map will be adorned with a Halloween theme.
PUBG Battlegrounds 14.1 update brings new spooky-themed effects, including fog and unique moon color will be found at key points of interest throughout the map.
The patch will introduce a new feature of the game – Carry. Available on all maps, players will be able to download demolished players, unlocking various new strategies. Carry the downgrade partner to safety and rehabilitate him or her behind the cover or pick up the downgraded enemy and use it as a shield from the incoming fire.
The update will also introduce the new Carry gameplay feature, launch a new ranked season, make various improvements to the South Korea-inspired Taego map and more
What’s New – PUBG Battleground 14.1 Update
New Ranked Season
Update 14.1 introduces a new ranked season, meaning all rewards earned during the Ranked Season 13 have been automatically added to players’ inventory. Ranked Season 14 will run for two months, similar to recent ranked seasons.
Taego Tweaks
The map will see a variety of world improvements based on player data collected throughout the last few months. After looking at the map’s most popular combat zones, objects and terrain improvements will be made to areas with a 75 percent win rate or higher. The map will also introduce Error Spaces, which will spawn weapons and supplies that were otherwise exclusive to other maps. Error Spaces will be available in Normal, Ranked and Custom Matches on Taego.
Erangel Adjustments
In addition to the aforementioned Halloween-themed updates, Erangel will see updates made to the Pochinki drop point. Until Update 14.1, players have found it challenging to escape Pochinki after early match combat without a vehicle. As a result, adjustments will be made to the Church building and new waterways, cover and fences will be added.
Map Rotation
With 14.1, Taego and Paramo will replace Vikendi and Karakin in Normal matches. Taego and Paramo will also replace Sanhok and Vikendi in Ranked matches. The new map rotation for matches is the following:

Beyond these options, there is an option for Advanced tuning Settings that let you adjust specific aspects of the animations.
Advanced Tuning
With this feature, you can customize details like damping, stiffness, and friction for how icons move and scale. Users can also customize where icons track, and there’s an Interpolator option to tweak how the icon scale animations work. This means you can make the animations your own.
In addition to this, the Advanced tuning also includes options for scale, duration, and blur settings for the Home screen and Wallpaper.
Large Folder
Another noteworthy feature is the introduction of the large folder option. You can now choose between medium and large sizes for your app folders while keeping the size of existing large folders the same.
This gives you more control over how your home screen looks and helps you organize your apps better. You can also adjust the folder grid and change the icon sizes, adding to your personalization options.
Pop-Up Folder
The update also enhances the pop-up folder functionality. Users can now customize the size of pop-up folders with options for small, medium, and large. Additional settings allow for variable sizes, fixed positions, and even options to hide the edit bar and remove blur effects.
This next level of customization provides a cleaner, more organized interface while ensuring that users can access their favorite apps quickly.

One UI 7 support now available for Samsung Home Up with v16.0
WhatsApp regularly tests new features through beta updates. Call links and new shortcuts for contacts and group chats are currently under testing. Now, WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that adds a limit on the number of contacts and group chat lists you can create.
The fresh update of WhatsApp arrives with a useful feature, which helps users better organize their contacts and group chats. The update reveals that WhatsApp is working on a new limit on the number of lists users can create.
Users will now be able to make up to 20 lists for organizing contacts and groups. It encourages you to think carefully about which contacts and groups you want to include in your lists.
In addition, WhatsApp is adding a shortcut that lets you quickly add contacts and groups to your lists. This shortcut will be situated at the top of your chats.

WhatsApp introduces new shortcut feature for contacts and group chats
Samsung users have been facing a frustrating issue with the NotiStar app on their Galaxy phones. Many users have reported that they receive duplicate notifications for messages regularly. This issue occurs with messaging apps and regular text messages.
