T-Mobile‘s “Keep & Switch” promotion getting upgrade, users can get up to $800 back

T-Mobile’s “Keep & Switch” promotion is under development. Now, consumers who switch to “Uncarrier” can receive $800 back with a prepaid discount card.

The bonus, which is only offered for a limited period of time, allows customers switching from a competing network to receive a discount card to eliminate the cost of paying for their devices.

Switchers simply pay for their device with their old manager before switching to T-Mobile and then post the credit showing the amount paid on the T-Mobile website. They will then receive a discount card for that amount via email, up to $800, in about 14 days.

The Keep & Switch promotion began back in June 2020. At that time, only people who switched from AT&T or Verizon were eligible, but that list has expanded over time to include Spectrum, Xfinity, US Cellular, Claro, and more recently, Boost.

All major T-Mobile programs are eligible, including all Magenta programs and even discounted programs such as initial feedback and 55+ programs. Only select devices from Apple, Google, and Samsung that are eligible, however.

In addition to the rebate, switching customers will be eligible for the “Zero Cost to Switch” promotion as well, which eliminates all sponsorship fees associated with adding lines.

Customers interested in making the most of the Keep & switch promotion can do so at the T-Mobile store or online. The amount of the bonus is for a limited time only. For more information, visit the T-Mobile site here.
