Not only camera megapixels, but Samsung also seems to be downgrading the display size of its upcoming flagship smartphone. Tipster IceUniverse revealed that the standard Galaxy S22 will sport a 6.06-inch screen, slightly tinier than the Galaxy S21.

On the other hand, it’s also reported that as the company is going to ship a ‘mini’ Galaxy S22 flagship, its battery will also be decreased due to the overall size of the smartphone, and rumors suggest a big battery capacity loss for the vanilla model as it could feature a 3700mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

At the same time, the source revealed that the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra will allow consumers to recharge the smartphone with a charger up to 45W, meanwhile, the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to feature an upgraded charging capacity than the entire Galaxy S21 line.

Adding to this, it’s said that the dimensions of the Galaxy S22 are smaller than Apple’s recently launched iPhone 13, which makes it Samsung’s most compact flagship since S10e. To be mentioned, the iPhone 13 expands 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.7 mm.

As per the previous reports, the Galaxy S22 lineup will come with both Snapdragon 898 and Exynos 2200 flagship SoCs. In Europe, Samsung will ship the Exynos variant, while the US and Chinese consumers will get Snapdragon models.

Earlier, local media predicted that the Korean tech giant will begin the mass production of the Galaxy S22 series in November this year and will release it in the first quarter of 2022. However, the Galaxy S22 series is expected to hit the global smartphone market sometime in January 2022.
