OPPO’s Android 12-based ColorOS 12 will launch on September 16

Google aims to officially launch the Android 12’s polished version on October 4, while OPPO is all set to introduce the next generation of its custom skin – ColorOS 12 on September 16. According to the info, the company is going to hold a new product launch event that day at 6 PM (Chinese time) in China.

On Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, OPPO has officially confirmed that the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 will be unveiled on September 16. To be mentioned, the upcoming version will succeed the Android 11-based ColorOS 11.

ColorOS 12 Features

As of now, we don’t have authentic information regarding the exact features of OPPO’s Android 12-based ColorOS 12 version. However, multiple reports revealed that the company will bring several new and useful features inspired by HydrogenOS, Meizu’s Flyme and Smartisan OS to further expand market share.

A couple of months back, OPPO released the Android 12 Beta for the Find X3 smartphone users in China so that it’s expected that the ColorOS 12 Beta could be pushed for the device at the same time of the announcement on September 16.
