In early 2022, Samsung is likely to release the Galaxy S22 series flagship smartphones. When it comes to performance, the company offers two different processor variants in the global markets such as Snapdragon-powered in the US and China, while Exynos powered in the rest of all.

Meanwhile, it looks like things are going to change this time as a Korean tipster has recently revealed that a major US carrier, Verizon, is in talks with Samsung to sell Exynos 2200-powered Galaxy S22 series devices in the US, opposite from the traditional Snapdragon fueled variant.

Surprisingly, the tipster claimed that China Telecom is also requesting Samsung to equip Exynos 2200 processor into the Galaxy S22 series. At the same time, there is still high demand from various parts for the Snapdragon 898 processor.

For those unaware, Samsung and AMD collaborated to develop a powerful mobile platform that will be called Exynos 2200. Earlier, AMD confirmed that the next flagship Exynos SoC will feature AMD graphics in order to directly compete with Apple’s A14 Bionic chip.

Last but not least, as we are months away from the official launch of the Galaxy S22 series and Exynos 2200, it’s recommended that take this info as a pinch of salt. We will be surely getting more and more data on the matter in near future.
