Latest WhatsApp Report Feature allows up to 5 messages of reported contact
WhatsApp bringing another latest update to Android beta 2.21.18.10 which has made some changes to the report feature. The new feature of WhatsApp Report increases privacy levels for every user and provides more insight into what will actually happen if they want to report a contact.
The WhatsApp reporting feature will allow the user to report individual, group, or anonymous messages with malicious and offensive messages. In addition, it requests user permission to read most of the last contact’s reported messages/group messages. This is a process to confirm if someone annoys you and will help chat app developers to better process the issue.
Earlier, WhatsApp did not specify the exact number of messages to be sent from a reported contact. But this new update slowed down and explicitly specified messages to be forwarded to the server when reporting a conversation.

What’s New in WhatsApp Report Feature
After the installation of the WhatsApp Android beta 2.21.18.10, if your report a contact, only five messages will be sent to WhatsApp. Otherwise, the system will work as before. While reporting a contact they will ask for your permission and will give you the option to block that person immediately or to leave that particular group.
In addition to specifying the number of messages in the reporting system, this update also included bug fixes. Now, the dark mode problem, where the play icon is not visible has been resolved. WhatsApp has recently changed audio messages and delivers voice waveform, playback buttons, and then remove the button to get accurate voice messages.
Coming back to the point, WhatsApp did not make a feature of undoing the spam report. Once you have reported the user, there is no way to retrieve that report, so be careful when reporting the contact. However, WhatsApp will not take any action unless that item has not been reported many times.
The WhatsApp 2.21.18.10 beta version provides this feature to everyone, make sure you have the same version. If you do not see it, try restarting your system after installation.

The Tap to Transfer feature allows users of Samsung Wallet on Galaxy phones to instantly transfer money by tapping the backs of their devices together. The transfer process is powered by NFC technology embedded in Galaxy phones.
Samsung confirmed that the feature will be gradually supported through app updates in Samsung Wallet. The Tap to Transfer feature eliminates the need to ask for or input the recipient’s account number during transfers.
This seamless process will help Galaxy users save time and effort as well as reduce the risk of sending money to the wrong account. It’s an answer to Apple iOS 18’s Tap to Cash feature, which allows users to transfer funds with nearby ecosystem devices.
Samsung Wallet allows the recipient to set a representative account for receiving funds and can receive ‘Tap to Transfer’ payments even when their Galaxy’s screen is off – even without opening the Samsung Wallet app.
Here’s how it works:
The user who wants to send money enters the password for their registered account in Samsung Wallet, inputs the transfer amount, then taps their phone against the recipient’s phone and completes the transfer through the default unlock method.
The recipient’s account number transmitted during the ‘Tap to Transfer’ process is encrypted and sent to the sender. Instead of displaying the full account number, only the last four digits of the recipient’s mobile phone number are shown.
The feature is currently available in South Korea and supported by Woori Bank.
