Samsung Galaxy S10 and Note 10 get August 2021 update in the US (Comcast/Xfinity Mobile)

Samsung is now releasing new firmware updates to its two popular flagship lineups – Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 in the US. According to the info, the latest software comes with the August 2021 security patch in order to enhance the overall system security as well as stability.

The August 2021 Android security patch rollout is now taking place for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 series locked on the Comcast and Xfinity Mobile carriers in the US. You can see the new software build numbers below.

  • Galaxy S10e – G970USQU6GUH4
  • Galaxy S10 – G973USQU6GUH4
  • Galaxy S10 Plus – G975USQU6GUH4
  • Galaxy Note 10 – N970USQU7FUH3
  • Galaxy Note 10 Plus – N975USQU7FUH3

Apart from the system security enhancements, the new Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series updates didn’t bring any new features or user interface changes. Meanwhile, if you own a Galaxy Note 10 range smartphone, you will get the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update later this year.

How to check for updates manually

  • Open device Settings
  • Scroll down and tap on Software updates
  • Hit the Download and install button.

One UI 3.1.1 arrived for global variants

Recently, Samsung has begun the One UI 3.1.1 update rollout for the Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10 and other flagship lineups. The update reportedly comes with new features for the calling function, Bookmark bar for Samsung Internet, changing support for Contacts, and Photo Remaster feature.
