Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e gets August 2021 security update

Samsung started releasing a new August software update for the Galaxy Tab S5e tablets in the South Korean market. Identified via build version – T725NKOS2DUH2, the new release brings system security improvements with the latest Android patches released in August 2021.

To be mentioned, the Galaxy Tab S5e debuted with the Android 9-based One UI 1.x out of the box. Last year, the affordable flagship tablet had received the Android 10-based One UI 2.x update, while the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update a few months ago.

Announced earlier this month, the August 2021 security update comes with repairs for 38 CVEs from Google and 8 SVEs from Samsung for the Galaxy Tab S5e and other Galaxy devices including phones and tablets. Moreover, the firmware also includes enhancements for stock apps for better user experiences.
