Surprisingly, the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 series devices are still waiting to take the taste of the August 2021 security patch while Samsung is now expanding the July 2021 patches to the carrier-locked Galaxy Note 10+ 5G models in the US.

According to the info, the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G locked on T-Mobile cellular has begun grabbing a new firmware update in the US that improves the system security by installing new Android and One UI patches released in July 2021.

Identified via PDA release number – N976USQU5EUF1, T-Mobile’s all-new Galaxy Note 10+ 5G software update didn’t embed significant system optimizations, as well as there are no new features arrived with the over the air update.

Galaxy Note 10 Android 12 Status

Launched back in August 2019, the Galaxy Note 10 series came pre-equipped with the Android 9 Pie-based One UI 1.x. Later on, the OEM distributed the One UI 2.x updates on top of Android 10 last year, followed by Android 11-based One UI 3 earlier this year.

Still, the Galaxy Note 10 series models are eligible for another major switch to the Android 12, which could happen earlier next year. Back in August 2020, Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy Note 10 and S10 series will also get three Android OS upgrades.
