New firmware update coming with your Galaxy Watch 4 on August 27

On August 11, Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable smartphones. However, all of these devices are set to start shipping to consumers from August 27, meanwhile, started getting firmware updates in advance.

According to the info, the Galaxy Watch 4 started grabbing new firmware update, which comes with version number – R870XXU1BUH5 and weighs around 300MB. The changelog suggests that the update enhances system functions and stock apps for a better user experience.

Adding to this, it also improves the system performance by fixing some unknown bugs that can harm the Gaalxy Watch 4 smartwatch. To be mentioned, the new wearable runs One UI Watch OS on top of Google’s Wear OS 3 powered by Samsung.
