Samsung Galaxy S22+ battery might not be its ‘Plus’ point
Launched earlier this year, the Galaxy S21 is Samsung’s well-equipped flagship lineup when it comes to batteries. Meanwhile, a recent report hints that one of the upcoming Galaxy S series smartphones will come with a major downgrade in terms of battery capacity.
Our folks over at GalaxyClub reported that the Galaxy S22+ will feature a battery with a typical capacity of 4,500 mAh and a rated capacity of 4,370 mAh, while the model number of its battery is EB-BS906ABY, which looks quite similar to the previously leaked device model numbers.
If this report becomes true, the Galaxy S22 Plus’ battery capacity will be the same as the Galaxy S20+, which was launched back in February 2020. At the same time, there’s no more info available regarding this smartphone or the entire lineup.

As per the previous reports, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a 5000mAh battery just like the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Meanwhile, the camera setup will also see noticeable modifications such as the standard and plus variant will feature a 50MP primary lens along with an ultrawide and a telephoto lens.
Well, Samsung could enhance the battery performance by implementing some improved hardware such as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with Eco OLED that is 20% more power-efficient than its predecessor.
