WhatsApp working on new option to view Status on tapping Profile Picture

Just recently, WhatsApp is making new changes to WhatsApp Status and will offer another option to see it. However, this feature is still being developed and will come with future updates.
According to the info, WhatsApp recently sent a new beta update of 2.21.17.5 for Android devices to the Google Play Store. It shows, the developer is changing the WhatsApp profile and attaching it to the Status section, so you can see the Personal Status there.
To clarify, when tapping on a profile picture of any contact, WhatsApp will give you two options asking if you want to view a profile picture or status. On the other hand, users currently have a different category of contact status.
This feature is similar to Twitter Fleets. Remember, this feature is not available to everyone. So, you may not be able to see it even if you have the same version of WhatsApp.

WhatsApp Beta version 2.23.21.3 update brings new text formatting tools for select users. Developers are working to introduce Code Block, Quote Block, and Lists tools to the application with its future updates.

Code block: it’s designed to enhance the convenience of sharing and reading lines of code within WhatsApp. It’s usually used by software engineers and programmers, but users can also apply this tool to highlight a specific portion of the message. The backtick character will be needed to use this formatting tool.
Quote block: it’s used to reply to a specific portion of a message. You will be able to apply this formatting tool by using the character “>”.
Lists: it’s used to organize information in a structured and ordered manner. The text should start with an asterisk, and a hyphen, and it also supports numbered lists.

WhatsApp might soon allow you to contact a user on WhatsApp even without having a WhatsApp account. To comply with the European Union’s Digital Markets Act, WhatsApp reportedly began making changes in the application, which will bring the third-party chats feature.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.19.8 update embeds a new section dedicated to the new regulations. Since the third-party chats section is under development, it appears empty and it’s not accessible to users.

This third-party chats feature is likely to let other people contact users on WhatsApp even if they don’t have a WhatsApp account. In case someone from Signal wants to get in touch with you but doesn’t have a WhatsApp account, they will still be able to text you.
Third-party chat support is under development and it will be available in a future update of the app.
