India: Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup starts grabbing August 2021 security update
Earlier this month, Samsung started distributing the latest security update to the eligible Galaxy devices in which the Galaxy S21 series is one of them. Now, the company expanding the most up-to-date August 2021 security update for the Galaxy S21 phones in India.
Identified via PDA firmware versions: G991BXXU3AUGM, G996BXXU3AUGM, and G998BXXU3AUGM for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra, the update is making its way to the Indian consumers gradually.

August security bulletin
Starting this month, the company published the August 2021 security bulletin that reveals this update brings fixes for 38 CVEs from Google (including 3 critical) and 8 SVEs from Samsung in order to enhance the overall device stability.
Aside from this, the Korean phone maker released the August update that included improvements for Camera performance to the Galaxy S21 series. However, it’s difficult to say whether the company will expand its reach to other regions or not. Meanwhile, you can see that changelog below.

Check for updates manually
You can check for the new update manually by opening your device’s Settings, finding and selecting the Software updates menu, waiting until the phone detects a new over the air update, and finally tapping on Download and install button.

After updating to One UI 6.1.1, many Samsung users were facing issues with the Gallery album feature. When users tried to open specific photos in the Gallery app, the album would disappear and their photos would not be visible. Instead of the photos appearing, the album itself disappeared
Samsung acknowledged the issue and promised to fix it in a future update. Now, with the release of this new Gallery app update, it is expected that the album visibility problem will be resolved.
While the update’s changelog does not provide specific details about which bugs have been fixed, it is widely expected that the disappearing album bug will be addressed.
