The Collaborative research projects will be open to third and fourth-year B.Tech and M.Tech and Ph.D. experts at KLE Tech. Students will also be encouraged to publish papers in collaboration with SRI-B engineers.
Samsung SEED Lab spreads over 3,000 sq. ft. and is equipped are things like a special dark room with lighting equipment to performing tests on multimedia in a variety of lighting environments, devices, and resources, image quality analysis tools, among others.
Lab to be a Hub for Millennials and Gen Z Students Researching & Solving Real World Problems through Cutting Edge Innovations.
Engineers at Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore will provide mentorship to students to make them industry-ready.
It also has a backup infrastructure for storing, processing, and storing large data records. All students will receive certificates of contribution at the end of each project from SRI-B.
Samsung has been working with students at all Karnataka engineering colleges in various R&D projects in areas such as AI, ML, Internet of Things, and Connected Devices and 5G networks, as part of the popular student engagement program called Samsung PRISM. Among the successes over the past two years of this program are many students gaining patents in partnership with SRI-B engineers.

Samsung’s new all-solid-state batteries will power future Galaxy devices
We have been hearing about the EV-like battery’s arrival on mobile devices. It was reported that Samsung could first bring the new battery tech in wearables. Indeed, Samsung’s all-solid-state batteries will boost future Galaxy devices.
Developments indicate at imminent launch of all-solid-state and pure silicon batteries. The new all-solid-state batteries will debut with Samsung’s future mobile devices. The mass production is expected to commence by 2026.
You may have heard about Samsung Electro-Mechanics’ achievement of successfully developing ultra-small all-solid-state batteries. These batteries replace flammable liquid electrolytes with solid ones, enhancing safety and reducing many risks.
Apart from Samsung, a North American firm is also said to be working on pure silicon batteries. This technology only uses silicon for the anode as part of promising significantly increased battery life and reduced charging times.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics has a lead…
The Korean tech giant recently announced the successful development of oxide-based ultra-small all-solid-state batteries. Samsung has also supplied prototypes to key customers for evaluation before commercializing into consumer products.
Notably, Samsung is the world’s first firm that has achieved the milestone of developing ultra-small all-solid-state batteries. As mass production is expected in 2026, we assume the Galaxy Watch 9 series could boast new all-solid-state batteries.
All-solid-state batteries are cells, which replace liquid electrolytes with non-flammable solids. Samsung is pushing for applications in wearable devices that closely adhere to the body, such as smartwatches and earbuds.
