Samsung releases July 2021 security update for Galaxy A12
Samsung is now rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy A12 smartphone, which brings the latest July 2021 security patch. As of now, the update is spotted in Guatemala, bearing PDA release number – A125MUBS1BUG3.
Other than the system security improvements, the Galaxy A12 July 2021 update doesn’t add any new feature or optimizes the system. As with any other OTA update, it should enhance the overall system stability and bring enhancements to the smartphone’s stock applications.
At the beginning of the second week, the company released its July 2021 security bulletin, which details all the issues and bug fixes for the Galaxy devices. Therefore, the latest Galaxy A12 update embeds fixes for 41 CVEs from Google and 8 SVEs from Samsung.

Galaxy A12 Android 12 Update
Launched back in November 2020, the Galaxy A12 came with the Android 10-based One UI 2.x out of the box. Moving forward, the company released the Android 11 update for the device around three months ago and it’s also eligible for the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update.
According to our info, Samsung will start the Android 12 adoption process for the Galaxy devices in September, followed by an announcement for One UI 4.0 Beta in October this year. Speaking specifically about the Galaxy A12, it could get the major Android upgrade in the third quarter of next year.
How to check for update manually?
As always, just open your device’s Settings, scroll down then tap on the Software updates menu. Wait for update checking and hit the Download and install button if the device recognizes a new OTA update.
Samsung is expanding the October 2024 security update for the Galaxy S23 series in Europe and India. This update improves the overall performance of the device by fixing several issues.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series are getting the October 2024 security update in the US through One UI builds given below.

- Galaxy S23 Plus – S916USQS4CXI4
- Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918USQS4CXI4
The fresh update brings fixes for some issues that users encountered in previous versions to make your Galaxy S23 more stable and secure. The installation package size of this update is around 400MB.
