Over the past three weeks, Samsung delivered the July 2021 security patch to most of its Galaxy devices including phones and tablets. At the same time, the company is rapidly working to distribute the latest security update to the remaining eligible devices as soon as possible.
In a recent development, Samsung pushed a new software update to the Galaxy A50 smartphone users in a number of European and Asian countries including France and India. The update comes with the July 2021 security patch in order to increase the overall system stability.
In India, the Galaxy A50 users can identify the new Android patch update via firmware version A505FDDS9CUF1. It’s noteworthy that the OTA hitting a limited number of consumers randomly so it may take a bit longer to be available for every single unit.
July 2021 security patch details
Starting this month, the South Korean giant released the July 2021 security patch details, which shows fixes for dozens of CVEs and SVEs from Google and Samsung for Galaxy devices. Furthermore, the update also enhances the overall device performance and stock apps for a better user experience.
Verizon Galaxy A50 also received the same treatment
Just recently, the US network carrier Verizon released the July 2021 security patch for the Samsung Galaxy A50 smartphone. Moreover, the South Korean variants have also joined the party with the latest Android security patch.
