Samsung Bixby reportedly revealing next Unpacked event’s date

Published

It looks like Samsung has started preparations for its next Unpacked event that is expected to be held on August 11. However, the company is yet to officially confirm the event date, but its native intelligent assistant Bixby is now revealing it through a cryptic code.

Recently, our folks over at SamMobile spotted that when you ask Bixby about the next Unpacked, it displays a pattern and asks you to listen carefully. Also, Bixby sometimes asks that “can you crack the code?”, which is a morse code (.- ..- –. ..- … – / .—- .—-) and it translates to August 11.

Still, we suggest you take this information as a pinch of salt as Samsung has not yet officially confirmed its next Unpacked event date. However, multiple leaks and reports are enough to reveal the company’s plan for its upcoming virtual event.

At the event, Samsung will launch its new foldable phones – Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. Both of these devices will run the new One UI 3.1.1 on top of Google’s Android 11 operating system. Under the hood, these phones will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 flagship processor.

On the other hand, the Korean tech giant will also unveil its new wearable devices – Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, and Galaxy Buds 2. The highlight of the upcoming wearables is they will run a new version of Wear OS instead of Samsung’s traditional Tizen OS.
