It looks like Samsung has started preparations for its next Unpacked event that is expected to be held on August 11. However, the company is yet to officially confirm the event date, but its native intelligent assistant Bixby is now revealing it through a cryptic code.
Recently, our folks over at SamMobile spotted that when you ask Bixby about the next Unpacked, it displays a pattern and asks you to listen carefully. Also, Bixby sometimes asks that “can you crack the code?”, which is a morse code (.- ..- –. ..- … – / .—- .—-) and it translates to August 11.
Still, we suggest you take this information as a pinch of salt as Samsung has not yet officially confirmed its next Unpacked event date. However, multiple leaks and reports are enough to reveal the company’s plan for its upcoming virtual event.
At the event, Samsung will launch its new foldable phones – Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. Both of these devices will run the new One UI 3.1.1 on top of Google’s Android 11 operating system. Under the hood, these phones will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 flagship processor.
On the other hand, the Korean tech giant will also unveil its new wearable devices – Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, and Galaxy Buds 2. The highlight of the upcoming wearables is they will run a new version of Wear OS instead of Samsung’s traditional Tizen OS.

Earlier, it was reported that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A05s comes with a 6.6-inch display, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast wired charging. As it’s an entry-level phone, it has thick bezels and a chin, while keeping the company’s signature design language.
Google confirms Galaxy S23 FE coming in two SoC variants
Google Play Console database confirmed that Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE will be available in two SoC variants. The company is about to introduce a handful of new Fan Edition products including a smartphone, two tablets, and a pair of wireless earbuds.
In a recent development, Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE surfaced on the Google Play Console database, which not only confirmed that two SoC variants are coming but an image of the phone also got shared. The device will have Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips, based on market/region.
In addition, the S23 Fan Edition will bring 8GB of RAM, well, at least one of its variants will. It’s easily possible this will be the only RAM variant, though. Android 13 is also confirmed, while One UI 5.1 will be included on top of it as well as eligibility of 4 OS plus 5 years of security updates.
Here’s when Samsung Galaxy Z Fold rival by OnePlus going official!
OnePlus will launch its first foldable smartphone – the OnePlus Open on October 19. A reliable source revealed the launch date, following OnePlus’ announcement about the “soon” arrival of its first foldable handset.
The upcoming OnePlus Open reportedly features a form factor of OPPO Find N2. After Google’s Pixel Fold, the OnePlus Open will compete with Samsung, which has dominated the international foldable market.
Notably, the Chinese phone maker kicked out China’s BOE in favor of Samsung Display. This decision led the vendor delay the unveiling of the foldable phone as major change in its OLED panel supply chain.
