[List] Samsung releases new One UI s/w updates schedule for Galaxy devices
Though a bit late, Samsung has finally published its monthly software update rollout plan that mentions a number of older and latest Galaxy phones and tablets. Along with this, the company has also released the July 2021 patch details that reveal fixes for 41 CVEs from Google and 8 SVEs from Samsung.
In this article, we are discussing the eligible Galaxy devices for new software updates from Samsung. It’s noteworthy that the company has different segments including Galaxy S/Note/Z and Galaxy A/M/F. And these models get new s/w upgrades on a monthly, quarterly, and biannual basis.
The Korean tech giant rolls out new software updates that include new CVE fixes, security patches, system stability improvements, additional features, OS upgrades, One UI versions, and more. Basically, the OEM offers new security updates every month to flagships, while others get quarterly for 3 years from the official launch.

Starting this year, Samsung promised four years of regular security updates to all the Galaxies launched in/after 2019. Meanwhile, there’s a catch that is the company will offer only two new updates in the last/fourth year and will discontinue official support.
