Samsung Galaxy A22 India pricing leaked alongside official marketing poster

Samsung will soon launch the Galaxy A22 smartphone in India as the latest leak reveals its price details. According to the info, the price of the 4G variant has been revealed through retail stores in India ahead of its official launch.

If the leaked official marketing poster is correct, the Galaxy A22 (LTE) will come with a starting price tag of 18,499 for 6GB RAM and 128GB. The marketing poster also mentions some highlights of this smartphone such as a 48MP (OIS), 6.4″ HD+ sAMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 5000mAh battery, and more.

In addition to the key specifications and pricing, the Galaxy A22 poster also reveals that the company will offer free contact-less home delivery due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Moreover, the Samsung Finance+ service will also be offered at the consumer’s doorstep.

Galaxy A22 4G Specs [Official]

The Galaxy A22 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the rear, it has a quad-camera setup including a 48MP primary camera, with OIS and autofocus, plus an 8MP ultrawide sensor (F2.2), a 2MP macro camera (F2.4), and a 2MP depth sensor (F2.4). On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera with an F2.2 aperture.

Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor, which will be available in three memory options: 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB. Furthermore, it runs the Android 11 OS and Samsung One UI 3.1 software system.

Apart from this, the Galaxy A22 also brings Dolby Atmos audio for earphones and Bluetooth devices that’s nice for playing content. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, expandable memory up to 1TB via microSD card, 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging, LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Tipster @Tech_Reve revealed that Samsung is working on a 1-inch ISOCELL camera sensor with 0.8µm pixels, dual-pixel autofocus, and in-sensor crop zoom. Apart from these details, the tipster hasn’t revealed the model number of this image sensor.

According to tipster Revegnus, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus smartphones might not use an ISOCELL camera sensor, with an upgrade to a new Sony Camera solution expected. It’s worth noting that there’s no camera hardware upgrade in the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus.
