Samsung is preparing to introduce its new foldable screen smartphones in near future. Ahead of official confirmation, another leak regarding one of the upcoming folding phones has just appeared online, revealing a handful of stunning color variants.

Recently, a known tipster Evan Blass leaked the official-like press renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 through Twitter. Following this, a Samsung fan from South Korea filled the latest render with 6 different colors – Black, Silver, White, Green, Violet, and Peach. [Source/Via]

Samsung’s next-gen clamshell foldable model could come with the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset for a powerful performance. Moreover, the Flip 3 is tipped to bring two 12-megapixel cameras on the rear in a truly new camera system.

  • Battery & charging

Earlier, the batteries of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 3 had spotted on SafetyKorea certification that revealed it could pack a 2,300 mAh rated capacity and a 2,370 mAh typical capacity battery, while China’s 3C database confirmed its disappointing 15W fast charging support.

  • Display & design

The Galaxy Z Flip 3 tipped to feature a 6.7-inch dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display along with a 120Hz refresh rate, meanwhile, it will feature the same top and bottom flip design as the original Galaxy Z Flip.

Launching on August 3

Last but not least, Samsung has not confirmed the launch information of its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. However, it could happen on August 3, and the company will start shipping the new foldables on August 28.

Samsung is expected to start parts production for the Galaxy S24 series next month. This year’s Galaxy S lineup launched in February, while the S24 series may unveil about a month earlier.

According to Korean media, Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series will be released early next year. The company will be starting to produce parts in the middle of next month, with the official launch taking place in January.

The report suggests that the early launch of the Galaxy S24 series is in response to Apple’s iPhone 15 series, which continues to see strong demand despite market concerns internationally.

Galaxy S23 Ultra GPU is better than iPhone 15 Pro Max

Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro series is the first to debut 3nm smartphone chipset. Meanwhile, Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra, equipped with a 4nm-based Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip has a better GPU compared to Apple’s new iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Galaxy S23 Ultra performs much better than iPhone 15 Pro Max in the 3DMark Wildlife Extreme test. The former starts at 3,886 points in the first run and drops to 2,794 points in the 20th run. Meanwhile, iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at 3,608 points in the first run and drops to 2,843 points in just the 2nd run.

The image shows that the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s GPU performance dropped by 22% after just one run of the test. On the flip side, the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s GPU performance dropped by 28% after 20 runs of the graphics test. This gradual decline ensures users won’t notice a sudden drop in performance during gaming.

Samsung will release the Galaxy S24 series next year, which will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor. It’s reported that select countries will get Exynos 2400 in their S24 and S24 Plus, while the S24 Ultra will solely use Snapdragon processor.

Famous YouTuber, JerryRigEverything, posted his new durability test video on Apple’s latest iPhone. Despite titanium build and durability claims by Apple, the iPhone 15 Pro Max back glass immediately cracked in less than 5 seconds with minimal pressure applied.

The iPhone 6 Plus was the last Apple iPhone, which failed the durability test. The latest durability test video raises concerns that something is wrong with Apple’s latest iPhone 15 Pro Max as its back glass cracked within 5 seconds, even with the least force applied.

This year, Apple used the Aerospace-grade Titanium for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Meanwhile, JerryRigEverything’s iPhone 15 Pro Max durability test video reveals that it’s not as durable as the marketing would lead buyers to believe.

The crack happened immediately at the back of the device whereby the back glass is shown to be completely cracked with glass coming out. However, the device passes the scratch test, with the Ceramic Shield glass starts scratching at Level 6 with deeper grooves on Level 7 on the Mohs scale of durability.
