Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G makes its way through the FCC

Recently, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 appeared on FCC, and now its Galaxy Z Flip 3‘s turn to gain this mandatory certification. Unlike the former model, the supporting documents of the latter don’t show noticeable functionalities.

According to the USA FCC, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 carries model numbers – SM-F711U for carrier-branded, while SM-F711U1 for unlocked phones. Moreover, it suggests that the device features connectivity options including MMwave n260 & n261 band, CDMA, GSM, LTE, and WiFi.

Other than this, the Galaxy Z Flip 3’s FCC certificate documents don’t reveal more details over its specifications and design. Meanwhile, the previous report suggests that it will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3 on August 3rd, 2021.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is rumored to come with a 6.7-inch dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display along with a 120Hz refresh rate, meanwhile, it will feature the same top and bottom flip design as the original Galaxy Z Flip.

  • Batter & charging

Previously, the batteries of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 3 had spotted on SafetyKorea certification, which revealed it could pack a 2,300 mAh rated capacity and a 2,370 mAh typical capacity battery, while China’s 3C database confirmed its disappointing 15W fast charging support.

  • Processor & camera

As per the reports, the company’s next clamshell foldable model could be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 chipset for a powerful performance. Furthermore, the Flip 3 is tipped to bring two 12-megapixel cameras on the rear in a truly new camera system.

Launching on August 3
