Samsung plans to present Galaxy S21 FE as Galaxy Note 20 successor
A couple of months ago, Samsung confirmed that there will be no new Note line release in the third quarter of this year due to chip shortage and the arrival of the S Pen with the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Meanwhile, the company is going to launch new foldables this summer and one of them said to feature S Pen support.
Although there’s no Galaxy Note 21 this quarter, the Korean tech giant is preparing to fill the gap of this lineup by launching the Fan Edition of the latest Galaxy S21 series, at the same time as previous Unpacked events for Notes.
According to popular tipster @OnLeaks, Samsung is planning to present the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE as a successor to the Galaxy Note 20 series instead of the Galaxy S20 FE. It is said that the Fan Edition model of the Galaxy S20 had seriously affected the sales of the Galaxy Note 20 phones.
Moreover, Evan reminded us of an old leak, in which he had exposed Samsung’s mini product roadmap that consists of upcoming Unpacked and products, by sharing an image in reply to the original post. This new leak shows Samsung’s disappointment due to the low sales of the Galaxy S21 series compared to older flagships.
It’s worth mentioning that Samsung has not sold predicted units of the Galaxy S21 range even after lesser competition than previous years (especially compared to 2019). However, Xiaomi and Oppo are still struggling in the premium market, while the US-banned Huawei became limited to China.

A user managed to check the temperature of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which registered over 100-degree Fahrenheit. The model is getting warm even without using it as well as sometimes minutes after connecting the USB C-Type charging cable.
Notably, Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max is equipped with A17 Pro chipset. This processor is manufactured by Taiwan’s TSMC on the cutting-edge 3nm process technology. Apple recommends users not charge their iPhone with Android’s USB C cable, while the overheating reports continue to emerge.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 series in February, while the Galaxy S24 series is reportedly coming earlier. Recently, Korean media reported that the parts production for Samsung’s Galaxy S24 smartphones could begin in mid-October.
According to a reliable source, Samsung may launch the Galaxy S24 series in January 2024. The tipster claims the devices may be unveiled around January 18, but it’s not confirmed. Notably, Korean media reports that the S24 series will go official a month earlier than this year.

Next year’s Galaxy S flagship lineup will present three models – S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra. Samsung appears to be bringing back the in-house Exynos 2400 chipset, but the Ultra will solely use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, manufactured by TSMC.
