Samsung Galaxy Note 9 finally gets May 2021 update in Canada
It’s the first day of June 2021 and some of the Samsung flagships including the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20 series, and Galaxy Z Flip 5G have been updated to the latest June 2021 security patch. At the same time, the company has also included Camera lag issue fix for the Galaxy S21 series smartphones.
Aside from this, some older Galaxies are still receiving older security patches as the Galaxy Note 9 is the latest to grab the May 2021 patch in Canada. However, the international units have already received the same treatment a few days ago.
According to the info, the Galaxy Note 9 May 2021 security update comes with version number N960WVLU8FUE1. In addition to the security improvements, this release also enhances the system functions and stock applications for a better overall user experience.
Launched back in August last year, the Android 10-based One UI version 2.5 is the final major s/w update for the Galaxy Note 9 flagship and it will spend its remaining time on the One UI 2.5. Well, you can now check for the software update manually by navigating to your device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
