[PSA] Samsung Galaxy S21 June 2021 update brings major Camera improvements

On May 27, Samsung has started to release the June 2021 security update to its latest flagship models. Just like the previous month, the Galaxy S21 series has begun receiving the newer security patch even before the next month. However, the company is yet to expand its availability as it is currently limited to South Korean users.

It’s worth mentioning that the changelog of the Galaxy S21 June 2021 update doesn’t show any new features or system improvements. Meanwhile, several Korean Galaxy S21 smartphone users told us that they are now experiencing improved Camera performance.

According to their feedback, the June 2021 update comes with major Camera performance improvements while the changelog just shows a newer security patch. Following this, we reached the company to know the exact information and changed of this latest Galaxy S21 series s/w update.

Commenting on our query, the person in charge of the Camera said that this update improves the laggy Camera performance by reflecting the hitch-related AF optimization. Furthermore, fixes from the recently known path will be additionally reflected in the June update and Camera app bug fixes are included.

At last, the Camera person-in-charge said that “When the update schedule is confirmed, the company will provide additional notice regarding this matter.”

Just to remind you, the Galaxy S21 series June 2021 update is currently limited to the South Korean market. It’s expected that Samsung will soon start a broader rollout. Till then, you can manually check for the new software updates via navigating to your device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
