Samsung is the leader of the global smartphone market by shipping the largest numbers of units. The company not only ships different types of products such as phones, tablets, wearables, and home appliances. At the same time, it also participates in several social activities, holds workshops, and helps the countries that are facing difficulties.

According to the latest information, the South Korean tech giant has imported one million innovative Low Dead Space (LDS) syringes in order to support India’s Covid-19 vaccination drive! To be noted, this is a part of the company’s Covid support program for the country.

The Low Dead Space (LDS) syringes reduce the amount of drug left in the syringes after an injection that reduces the wastage of vaccine, which enables 20% more people to get the dose with the same amount of vaccine. Airlifted from South Korea, 325,000 LDS syringes have been delivered to Uttar Pradesh’s every district.

Apart from this, Samsung also pledged $5 million (INR 37 Crores) as its contribution to India’s fight against Covid-19 to boost the healthcare sector with essential medical equipment for hospitals.

However, the company’s contribution includes $2 million worth of medical supplies including 100 Oxygen Concentrators, 3,000 Oxygen Cylinders, and one million LDS syringes.
