After updating the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10, Galaxy A52/A72, and several other Galaxy devices, Samsung is now rolling out the May 2021 security update to the Galaxy A50 smartphone. This update is currently rolling out by Verizon carrier in the US and will expand to other regions soon.
In the US, the Galaxy A50 users can identify this update via release number A505USQSCDUE2, which focuses on the system security improvements by installing the latest Android and One UI patches released in May 2021.
This latest security update brings fixes for several CVEs from Samsung and Google. In addition, it also enhances the system functions as well as stock applications for a better user experience. However, it is currently available for carrier locked models, Samsung will soon release it in more markets.
Fixes for Qualcomm 5G modem’s vulnerabilities

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G grabs September 2024 security update
We are in October 2024 and Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Galaxy A33 5G smartphone, which brings the September 2024 security patch to improve system security and stability. The update is available for users in Brazil and the company will soon expand it to more countries.

Notably, the update is based on Android 14-based One UI 6.1. This device is eligible for the next major One UI update, One UI 7, based on Android 15.
