Samsung Galaxy A32 starts getting May 2021 security update
Earlier this year, Samsung announced the Galaxy A32 5G, which is the cheapest 5G smartphone offering from the brand to date. Later on, the company had also launched the 4G variant of the A32, which features a 90Hz refresh rate display compared to the 60Hz display of the 5G variant.
In terms of software, the Galaxy A32 models come with the latest One UI 3.1 software system on top of Android 11. As per Samsung’s update policy, it will get major upgrades up to Android 13, and four years of security update support. Now, the company released a new software update, which brings a newer security patch.
According to the latest info, Samsung is now improving the system security of the Galaxy A32 by installing the up-to-date Android and One UI patch released in May 2021. Spotted in Panama, this update carries release number – A325MUBU1AUD2.
Along with the newer security patch, this release also brings enhancements to the system functions and stock apps as well as fixes for some unknown bugs in order to deliver a better user experience. However, it’s an initial rollout, the company could expand its reach for both 4G and 5G variants to more regions very soon.

You can also check for the latest update manually by navigating to your device’s Settings, then select the Software updates section, and finally tap on Download and install.

December 2024 security patch addresses over 45 vulnerabilities, including both Google and Samsung-specific issues to enhance device security. This update incorporates 6 critical and 28 high-level fixes from Google. Additionally, one previously resolved issue has been readdressed, and another is not relevant to Samsung devices.
On the Samsung side, 2 high-level vulnerabilities in its semiconductor products have been patched. The update also includes 8 fixes listed under Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE), focusing on the Theme Center, Galaxy Watch Bluetooth functionality, SmartSwitch, and Dex Mode.
This fresh update is based on Android 14 and One UI 6.1.1 update. Users of these phones are waiting for the One UI 7 Beta update to try new features and improvements ahead of the official release.

Samsung has pushed a new update for the Galaxy S24 FE smartphone, which installs the latest Android security patch released in December 2024 to improve system security. This update is rolling out in Korea and the company will soon make it available in more countries.
December 2024 update for Samsung Galaxy S24 FE update arrives with One UI build version S721NKSS2AXK5 and an installation package size of around 300MB. The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.
The fresh update is based on One UI 6.1.1 and Android 14. However, the update is eligible for the next major, One UI 7, update. Currently, Samsung is testing One UI 7 Beta on the Galaxy S24 series and will release a stable update with the next Galaxy S series next year.
Talking about the December 2024 security patch, this update fixes several issues around 45, to make the smartphone more secure and stable. Google fixes 6 critical vulnerabilities and 28 high-level ones. There is also 1 issue that was previously fixed in earlier updates and another that is not applicable to Samsung devices.

Samsung rolls out the December 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition via One UI build version F958NKSS2AXKC. Users will have to download around 400MB package to install the update.
