At the “Bespoke Home 2021”, a virtual platform and global showcase for Home Appliances, Samsung announced the global expansion of the Bespoke refrigerator lineup as well as the upcoming global launch of the Bespoke Kitchen package, along with new lifestyle appliances and integrated IoT solutions.

JaeSeung Lee, President and Head of Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics said:

“We are delighted to announce the global expansion of our Bespoke lineup, offering comprehensive lifestyle solutions to empower consumers who are exploring their emerging lifestyle needs. It is our mission to develop products that help consumers manage and run their lives better.”

The Customizable Fridge Goes Global

The Bespoke refrigerator lineup is expanding to North America, Latin America, Europe, the Commonwealth of the Independent States, the Middle East, and parts of Asia and Africa. Customization provides more than 20 original colors and 7 surface treatments around the world, and a variety of combinations are available for your choice.

In North America, consumers can choose a 4-door telescopic, 1-door column, or 2-door bottom-mounted freezer. Samsung has produced many unique metallic colors for the region, including champagne rose steel, navy blue, and matte black steel.

On the other hand, in Europe, tailor-made products are available in 1 door and 1 door slim type, while the lower-mounted freezer models are 1.8 meters and 2 meters, with six different finishes and a wider color palette, from Classic white to soft pastel and Up. Declare the color.

A Kitchen Packaged for You

The new Bespoke kitchen package is the first global expansion of customized products, surpassing Samsung’s refrigerators, and introducing the concept of customized equipment into the entire kitchen starting from the European and American markets.

The North American company will start later this year to provide a center for the main custom refrigerators and expand to include the custom range, the form of microwave ovens and dishwashers, which are manufactured in exactly the same form as refrigerators.

The packaging allows customers to mix their kitchen aesthetics with their favorite colors, or use matte black steel, navy blue steel, champagne rose steel, and white glass to complete.

Appliances That Plug Right Into Your Lifestyle

Samsung will also launch its expanded lineup of targeted lifestyle equipment in North America and Europe this year, including Bespoke AirDresser, Bespoke Air Purifier, and Bespoke Jet™ Stick Vacuum Cleaner.

As the number of houses doubles and they become offices, gymnasiums, and classrooms, these new custom home appliances meet daily needs by providing greater flexibility, automation, and hygiene.

New lifestyle appliances that are launching in North America and Europe include:

Bespoke AirDresser delivers a range of clothing care solutions to ensure that garments are kept in tip-top shape and does it with upgraded Bespoke style. It launches in Europe and in the U.S. in the second half of 2021.

Bespoke air purifier draws air from five directions to purify the air rapidly and intensively, even in large spaces. Its ultrafine purification system can remove 99.999 percent of 0.01µm dust,* while the 3 Way smart discharge circulates clean air in various directions. The unit is available in a range of designs and colors and launches in the U.S. during the third quarter.

Bespoke Jet comes with a Clean Station and charging station attached, offering users a comprehensive cleaning solution. Once done vacuuming, the user simply docks the vacuum and it’ll empty and charge on its own. The new Bespoke Jet™ will be available in three colors and launch in the U.S., Europe, CIS, and Southeast Asia in the second half of 2021.

Jet Bot AI+ is the first robot vacuum to come equipped with an Intel® AI solution. It will be available in U.S., Europe, CIS, and Southeast Asia in the second half of 2021.

Other new lifestyle appliances include:

Bespoke Cube refrigerator** provides modular storage for items other than groceries, such as wine, beer and beauty products. This device is quite enough to have in the bedroom or next to the sofa, or wherever one prefers to hold special items that need to stay cool.

Bespoke water purifier** is available with a single faucet or multiple faucets. It is equipped with a four-level filter system and can filter up to 2,500 liters of water, which is enough for a four-person family to drink for a year. Water volume and temperature can be set by voice control using Bixby.

SmartThings Support Your Connected Life

Samsung’s vision for the Bespoke Home also emphasizes connected living through AI and automation. Driving this vision is Samsung’s SmartThings, which provides users with a centralized and effortless home management platform.

SmartThings Cooking provides personalized meal plans and recipes that reflect user preferences and fridge inventory, automatically applying cooking temperatures and modes based on each recipe directly to synced cooking appliances. The service is already available in North America and select countries in Europe.

SmartThings Pet syncs with home appliances like the Bespoke air purifier and Jet Bot AI+ robot vacuum to let users check on their pet when not at home. The service is set to launch globally in Europe, Latin America, and Asia during the second half of 2021.

The update to connect the new Bespoke AirDresser will be available in the U.S. and select European markets in the second half of 2021.

Samsung Good Lock One UI 7 Beta

Samsung’s One UI 7 Beta update is currently available for the Galaxy S24 series, bringing a fresh design and new features. However, Beta testers are facing issues with Good Lock as certain Good Lock modules are not working properly after the One UI 7 Beta. Here’s why these apps are not working.

Good Lock app lets Galaxy users change various parts of the phone’s interface, like the lock screen, quick settings, themes, and multitasking features. But with the new One UI 7 Beta, some of its customization features aren’t working as expected. This is because Good Lock modules are not yet fully compatible with the new Android 15-based One UI 7 Beta software.

Samsung has acknowledged these incompatibility issues and confirmed that some popular apps, including Good Lock, are unavailable or not functioning well in the beta phase. This is because the apps need time to be updated for the new software.

Moreover, a Samsung community moderator has assured users that the compatibility issues will be fixed in the stable version of One UI 7, which will be available soon. It means that Good Lock modules will work properly with the stable update.

Notably, the Good Guardian app recently received support for One UI 7. However, it is not confirmed yet whether it works properly with the Beta update. Users can expect a smoother experience once the final update is released.

For now, those using the One UI 7 Beta on their Galaxy S24 should be prepared for some limitations with Good Lock. But once the official One UI 7 update arrives, these issues will be resolved, and users can enjoy the full customization options of Good Lock. Stay tuned for more information.
