Following the growing tradition of work from home culture due to the Covid-19 pandemic, peoples are favoring staying at home to maintain social distancing. And it looks like Samsung is not in the mood to leave any opportunity to expand the business.

According to Korean media, the company will introduce its next flagship processor, most probably Exynos 2200, in the second half of this year. It is reported that this upcoming processor could power laptops and smartphones as well.

If the South Korean tech giant releases the Exynos 2200, then it will become the first Windows laptop maker, which uses its own processors to power the Galaxy laptops. However, the Exynos chips currently come with Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

Apart from this, the report suggests that the new Exynos chipset for laptops could debut with AMD (Advanced Micro Devices Inc.) GPU in order to present improved graphical technology.

As per the previous report, Samsung is preparing to introduce Windows 10 laptops equipped with Exynos processors and AMD graphics cards. The company may launch Exynos-powered laptops in the second half of this year to compete with Snapdragon chips.
