Samsung released Dual Recording camera mode for Galaxy Note 20 alongside May 2021 security patch in Korea
Late last month, Samsung’s Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy Note 20 series have been started getting the May 2021 security patch and a new Director’s View-inspired camera feature for older flagships. At that time, the company initially released this update in select European territories.
Now, as per the latest information, the May 2021 security patch has crossed the borders of the European market and reached the Galaxy Note 20 models in South Korea. This OTA carries firmware versions: N986NKSU1CUDA and N981NKSU1CUDA for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20 respectively.
Just like the international variants, the Korean Galaxy Note 20 also receiving a new Director’s View-inspired camera feature called “Dual Recording”. When enabled, it lets you record video from both the rear (primary) and front camera simultaneously.
Aside from this, the new update for the Galaxy Note 20 series brings improvements for the Camera performance and Quick Share function for a better overall user experience. Though these changes come with a package size of around 400MB so it is suggested that you should download it over a Wi-Fi connection.

After Europe, Samsung is expanding the September 2024 security update for Galaxy A52s smartphone in India. The update installs the latest Android security patch to improve the system’s security and stability.
September 2024 update focuses on improving security by fixing a number of issues. It addresses 1 critical problem and 43 high-level security issues. Additionally, there were 1 CVE (Common Vulnerability and Exposure) fixed in previous updates, and 1 CVE that does not affect Galaxy devices.
Moreover, Samsung is also adding 23 of its own security fixes, which fixes problems related to My Files, Theme Center, One UI Home, Knox, and Dex.
This fresh update enhances the overall experience of using your Galaxy A52s by fixing these issues and improving system performance. It is rolling out gradually so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.
September 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy A52s arrives with One UI build version A528BXXS9GXH2 and an installation package size of 262MB in India.

If you have received the notification of the update then install it now to get a bug-free experience. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.
Other Samsung Galaxy device users, including those with the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy S23 FE, are still waiting for the One UI 6.1.1 update. However, it was scheduled to roll out for these devices on September 17 in Canada.
