Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is one of the most anticipated smartphones in the industry. This handset is expected to feature multiple futuristic technologies such as an under-display camera, S Pen support, premium flexible display with high refresh rate, and much more.

The South Korean tech giant could launch its next-generation folding phone in the near future while the record of early information regarding the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is growing with each passing day. Recently, a Weibo tipster revealed various key specs of this upcoming device.

And now, Samsung’s upcoming foldable has reportedly cleared an important certification in China, which revealed the charging capacity. Our folks over at MySmartPrice spotted the Galaxy Z Fold 3 on the 3C database, which shows the phone has model number SM-F9260.

Furthermore, the 3C website revealed that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 supports 25W fast charging. Other than this the latest listing didn’t show any other specification or hardware capabilities while the previous 3C document suggested that the Fold 3 could be packed with a 4275mAh battery.

Aside from this, Weibo tipster recently claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will sport a 6.23-inch external screen and a 7.56-inch 120Hz LTPO screen (internal). Furthermore, it could have a 64MP+12MP+5MP triple rear camera system along with a 10MP selfie camera on the cover screen.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 equips Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset while the rumors surfaced that it could be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 888 Pro processor. The same source also revealed that this bendable phone highlights an under-display camera and IP53 rating.

Samsung first introduced the under-display camera technology with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 last year and brought its second generation with the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Moving ahead, Samsung aims to finally resolve the quality issues of under-display camera phones by 2024, which could be the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

According to TheElec report, the Display subsidiary of The company aimed to apply a transparent PI substrate to its foldable phone by 2024. Samsung is reportedly considering to ditch the yellow PI substrate and replace it with transparent PI substrate to offer clear photos without quality reduction through under-display camera.

Going ahead with the report, it’s expected that the Korean tech giant will first introduce the new under-display camera panel featuring transparent PI substrate with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 (tentative name) followed by OLED panels for Apple iPhones.

As of now, the foldable OLED displays are being mass-produced using a yellow PI substrate, which will be replaced with a transparent polyimide (PI) substrate around 2024. Using the new tech, Samsung seeks to improve the light transmittance of the under-panel camera (UPC).

The under-panel camera is an element that is structurally located below the OLED display, at the same time, its aperture is only visible when the device uses the camera function. While the camera of the phone is in operation, UPC allows external light to pass through the flexible OLED.

If Samsung Display applies a transparent PI substrate instead of a yellow PI substrate as planned, the light transmittance in the UPC area will increase, making it possible to take clearer pictures than now. Pixels can also be arranged more densely than now, reducing the sense of heterogeneity within the periphery of the display.

Earlier, SafetyKorea certification revealed that the Galaxy S23 Plus will feature a larger battery compared to its prececessor. Now, tipster slashleaks revealed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus flagship will could be packed with a 4700mAh battery, 200mAh more capacity than the S22 Plus.

And it’s now confirmed, Samsung has started preparation for the Galaxy S23 series flagships that will be launched in early next year. In a recent development, an alleged battery of Galaxy S23 Plus bearing model number EB-BS916ABY appeared on the Safety Korea certification site.

The model number of that recently certified battery is EB-BS916ABY, which hints at its arrival with the Galaxy S23 Plus. Following the previous records, the Galaxy S23 Plus should have model number SM-S916B, while SM-S911B and SM-S918B for the standard Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra, respectively.

However, the Chinese firm ATL (Ningde Amperex Technology Limited) has manufactured the S23+’s battery. The same firm is making batteries for the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable smartphones as well.

It’s worth mentioning that Safety Korea is a South Korean agency that certifies batteries and the S23 Plus battery has also been certified by the same authority. By the way, the Korean certification doesn’t reveal the battery capacity and other details, time will tell what changes Samsung’s going to bring.

As per the previous reports, the Galaxy S23 series will be packed with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset worldwide. The Ultra model is rumored to be equipped with a massive 200MP camera sensor, while the display panels might be more improved and power efficient.
