While several OEMs are working to deliver the March and April 2021 security update, Samsung has already updated its various premium devices to the May 2021 security patch. Besides, the Galaxy A51 has recently received this latest security update in select regions.
Aside from this, the South Korean tech giant is also rolling out the April 2021 security patch to the remaining and eligible Galaxy devices as the entry-level Galaxy M10 is the latest to grab it starting today. Users in Malaysia can identify this release via version number M105GDXS6CUD6, while the Vietnamese variants getting M105GDXS6CUD4 firmware.
Although, it’s a minor s/w but brings the up-to-date security patch to keep your device secure against different threats. As per the info, April 2021’s patch improves system security by fixing 30 critical CVEs from Google and 21 CVEs from Samsung.
Lastly, if you’ve not yet received the update notification on your Galaxy Tab S5e, then you should check for it manually by navigating to your device Settings, tap of Software updates section, and finally hit the Download and install button.
